Here is just a quick update to show the progress on my other side. I've got all the outlines done for this piece now and I'm really happy with it so far. We're leaving the bottom part of this piece kind of unfinished for now as it's eventually going to be integrated with some koi fish and water on my legs so it will all work as one piece in the end. We will be concentrating on finishing the torso part first though.
Hi - We met back in November when I was getting my Fudo Myo-o sleeve coloured in and you were getting the dragons on your front. Weirdly I'd come across your blog before just researching Japanese tattoos and then I went onto Diego's instagram and found a link on there.
ReplyDeleteSorry if any of this freaks you out, I'm quite a private person myself so wouldn't usually welcome this behaviour but I just loved the composition of your tattoos. I'm after some advice on how to make my sleeve into a whole body suit project. It seems to me like there has to be some 'plan' from the start. I've done a lot of research already but finding people as into this as I am is pretty hard!

DeleteI didn't really start out with any particular plan, just got my first sleeve done then the other sleeve, then I was kind of hooked so just carried on! I think it's best if you do have an overall plan if you can, but it will probably change as you get more done and see different things you like.
